How do I choose an All Inclusive Caribbean Vacation.....Well this is the page to come to. As you may already know, Punta Cana is known for it's all inclusive Resorts and beaches. The first time we on an all inclusive vacation I wasn't sure if I would get my money's worth. Gina likes to remind me that I couldn't have been more wrong. With all the drinks and meals included in the price, there is little else to worry about!
You are going to find that most of the hotels are nice, so what is the best resort for you? When choosing a hotel think about what is important to you. It might be the pool, or for one of the swabs, Bob-o, it is all about the ease of getting a nice mixed drink. He has mastered a few Caribbean drinks himself but when on an all inclusive Caribbean vacation it's time to let someone else do the work. A great pool with a swim up bar will fit these two needs rather nicely.

For me it is all about the beach and that's easy, the entire beach is nice. For swabby Jim it is important to have nice restaurants to choose from, so he looks for resorts with a nice variety. Jim loves to cook and especially enjoys creating some mouth watering, and in some cases, spicy Caribbean recipes.

This is a late night Buffet. Most of the all inclusive Caribbean vacations on any island, you will find that they
have Buffet style eating as well as "themed" restaurants.
I'm sure you know this but it is worth repeating several times, do not drink the water, do not brush your teeth with the water, and do not rinse out your mouth in the shower. The resorts give out bottled water but usually not enough is left in the room. Just ask at the lobby bar for water before you turn in and you should have no problems. I met a poor sole this year that was on his honeymoon and a had his fair share of adult beverages. He awoke thirsty in the middle of the night and went to the sink and drank a glass of water from the sink. The next day his new wife spent the day by herself. Most people want a nice room but you truly will not spend much time there. A few items to think
about when inquiring about a room. It is REALLY nice if they have a safe for valuables and most
do. A view is nice if you are the type to set on a balcony and have your morning coffee. If not
then don't spend the extra money.
