Punta Cana Weather

Punta Cana weather is very consistent which means that it usually sunny, warm and has a slight tropical breeze coming in from the ocean. So far I have only been to the Dominican Republic in the spring so my experience with the weather has been great. It is usually in the upper 80's to low 90's and when it rains it usually only lasts around 10 minutes while the clouds pass and then right back to sunshine.

I am not a big fan of tanning beds (it's a guy thing) but I learned very quickly that going to Punta Cana without a little bit of tan is not a great idea. However, If you use lot's of sun screen and stay in the shade as much as possible you will be fine without a tan. I like to walk the beautiful beaches and scuba dive so a tan is the ticket for me.
